We are a non-dues organization run by Chiropractors that want to insure the advancement of the Specialty of Non-Therapeutic Chiropractic.

Joseph B. Strauss

Joseph B. Strauss, D.C., F.C.S.C., graduated from Columbia Institute of Chiropractic (now New York Chiropractic College) in

  1. Dr. Strauss was a professor at Pennsylvania College of Straight Chiropractic where he taught chiropractic philosophy from 1978 to
  2. He began writing for the chiropractic profession in 1991 with his first book, Chiropractic Philosophy, which continues to be read
    world-wide by chiropractors and chiropractic students alike. Dr. Strauss has written a total of 22 chiropractic textbooks.
    In 1992 Dr. Strauss was elected a Fellow of the College of Straight Chiropractic. In 1999 he was honored as Chiropractor of the
    Year by Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. Dr. Strauss has lectured throughout the United States and overseas
    in Japan, New Zealand, and England on the subject of chiropractic philosophy. He maintained an active practice in Levittown,
    Pennsylvania for over 45 years and is now retired from practice. He continues to write for the profession and offer his books and other
    products on his website ChiropracticOutsidetheBox.com. You can trust any of his products to be philosophically-sound, carrying the
    message of objective, non-therapeutic, straight chiropractic. Dr. Strauss also continues to speak at chiropractic seminars and conferences

Some say that to practice without diagnosis would be dangerous. I suggest that nothing is
more dangerous than incompetent diagnoses. Every year tens of thousands of sick people
